Took forever to sort out by TV which was disconnected for over a week before it got sorted. Emails were not responded to, Tried ringing several times but after being on hold for over a hour, had to give up as I had work to do. Eventually got through to them on Twitter through DM and while it got sorted in the end, their customer service is not a great experience. Still better than eir though

What Do Google Reviewers Like About Virgin Media?

Similarly to Trustpilot, many Virgin Media customers have said they’ve had a good experience when it comes to customer service:

Just off the phone with Virgin, can't fault their customer service. Phoned 1908 to report an issue with my broadband. Having navigated through a few options there was a message stating that there was a 20 minute wait time. The call was picking up immediately however by a very friendly and professional assistant (Chantelle) who carried out some tests and then scheduled a technician to call out. Couldn't ask for any better service, the best I've experienced from anyone for a very long time.

I was not able to cancel online, I attempted for 3 months they insisted I called, when I couldn’t they did nothing. I am now being hit  with a €210 charge that I cannot accept. This is ridiculous

Generally have had positive experiences with VM but when there is a local outage could they at least post accurate status info on the site? Broadband's been out the whole day and yet their status checker says all systems are fine! Get it together, lads.
