What Is a My3 Login Account?

Like most broadband companies, Three has an online portal where you can see everything regarding your account with them. This Three login account is known as My3 login and you’ll usually be able to set it as soon as you start your contract with them.

What Can I Do With My Three Login Account?

With your Three account you are able to access everything regarding your Three services all online. The advantages to this is you don’t have to worry about waiting to contact Three on the phone if you need to do something urgently. Here are some of the things you can do if you have a My Three account:

  • Manage Your My Three Account
    You can manage your entire account through just using your Three account. You only need to login and you can change your personal information, address and your payment details. You can also change to eBilling by the click of a button. Here is also where you can find your UAN number.

  • View and Manage Bills
    With a Three account, you don’t need to wait for a bill to arrive in the post to find out what’s going on regarding your payments, you can just check it online. You’re able to see each of your payments and see how much you’re spending each month. You can also download the bills as PDFs.

  • Check Your Balance
    If you're a Pay As You Go user, you can check your credit balance through using the Three account. You’re also able to top up or set a scheduled top up, as well as see your top up history along with your Lend Me history.

  • Change Your Price Plans
    For both Bill Pay and Pay As You Go customers, you can change your current price plan through just using your My3 account. You can choose to change your tariff or update your current plan to have one more suited to your current needs.

  • Check Your Broadband Line
    You can receive messages about the status of the Three service, so if you need to check your broadband line or make sure your broadband isn't down, you can check this with the Three login.

What is my UAN? Your UAN is your Universal Account Number. This is an eight digit code that is unique to your line and helps identify whose line is whose. You’ll need your UAN when you make a switch to a different broadband provider and you’ll be able to find it at the top of your broadband bill, or through your My Eir login account. Your UAN is also known as your Eircom Account number.

How Do I Register for My3?

If you want to register for your Three account, you’ll need to create a ThreeID in order to get started with everything. This is quite a simple process if you don’t have a ThreeID already.

How Do I Create a ThreeID?

To create a ThreeID, you’ll need to navigate your way to the Three website and click on the My3 button at the top of the screen. You’ll then need to do the following:

  • Click the ‘Register’ button at the bottom
  • Fill in your first and last name with your email address
  • Create a secure password
  • Click ‘Agree to Terms and Conditions’
  • Click ‘Create Profile’ at the bottom

After you’ve done this, you’ll receive a verification email that contains the link you need for doing the final part of your ThreeID setup. After you click the link, you’ll be taken back to the My3 login page where you can login with your new ThreeID details.

What’s the difference between my ThreeID and My3 account? It might be confusing that you are setting up for something twice, but your ThreeID and your My3 account are in fact different things. Your ThreeID is just your username and password for logging into your My3 account. Your My3 account on the other hand is for your entire Three account management.

Can I Register for My3 Without a ThreeID?

You can also register without needing to create a ThreeID. Instead, you can use your social media accounts to register with just one click. You can use your Apple ID, Google account, or your Facebook account to register.

How Do I Log Into My Three Login Account?

In order to login into your My3 account, you just need to use the same ThreeID that you created while registering. All you need to do is fill in your username (email address) and password that you used when you registered. Alternatively, you can use your social media account to log into your Three account instead.

How Do I Use My3 Broadband Login?

When you login into your Three account, your Three broadband information will usually be the first information to appear. You’ll be able to consult all your broadband related details, such as:

  1. Account Preferences
    You’re able to view all your broadband account preferences when it comes to your broadband. You can view your router's name and password as well as change anything to make it set up in the way you like it.
  2. Three Broadband Bills
    You can view all your Three broadband bills, with the latest usually being the first one you’ll see when you log in. Your bills will include information about the data you’ve used in a given period and any extra charges you might have incurred.
  3. Broadband Usage
    You can also see how much you have used in regards to your broadband usage by just looking at the main screen. You can check how much has been used and, if you have a limit, how much you have left.

What About the Three Business Login?

If you're a Three business customer, you will also have your own My3 account to manage all your broadband. Three offers a great range for Three business and you can benefit from being able to control all aspects of it with your My3 account.

Why Can't I Log Into My3 Account?

If you’re having trouble logging into your Three account, there might be a couple of reasons behind it. One of the easiest reasons might be because the Three network is down, either by accident or for maintenance, and it might be better to wait a couple of hours to try again. However, there are also other reasons that might require you to change some details.

What If I Forget My3 Password?

If you forget your My3 password, don’t worry! You can easily get it back through a few simple steps and login like normal. If you’ve forgotten your password, you’ll need to make a new one through the Forgotten Password link that will appear when you try to log in.

  1. Click on Forgotten Password Link
    When you’re on the main Three login page, you’ll need to click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ link that appears at the bottom of the page. You’ll then be taken to a new page where you will need to continue filling out your details.
  2. Enter Username
    On the next page you’ll be asked for your username. This will be the username or email you created with your ThreeID. You will need to fill in it and then click ‘Submit’.
  3. Verification
    After you click ‘Submit’, you’ll then need to check your email. You’ll receive an email with a 6-digit verification code and your computer page will show you where you need to type the code. After you’ve typed in the code, you can then click ‘Submit Code’. If you didn’t receive the code, there is a link to resend the email.
  4. Make a New Password
    If you get the verification correct, you’ll then need to create a new password. Make sure that it contains 8 characters, a capital letter, a number, and a special character. There is a checker to let you know if it's not strong enough. After this, you can click ‘Submit’.

After you’ve changed your password, you’ll be able to log into your Three account with your ThreeID and your new password!

Is There a My3 App Login?

Three also has an app available for users to download and get access to their My3 account from their mobile device or tablet. It’s available from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store and can be downloaded free of charge. To log into your Three account from the app, simply fill in your ThreeID and you’ll get access to all your information.

Is the My3 App Any Good?

As with anything, there are reviews for both the Android and IOS My3 apps. On the Google Play Store, the app is rated 2.6 out of 5, with many customers having problems with logging in and the interface. It’s a similar story with the IOS app where on the App Store it has been rated 3.5 out of 5 with similar problems.
