Sometimes referred to as 'My Rewards', 'Rewards Club', or 'Unmissable Rewards', Bord Gáis Energy Rewards is a loyalty programme available to the provider's existing customers.
Bord Gáis Energy Rewards scheme includes some serious benefits. If you’re a Bord Gáis existing customer and haven’t signed up or looked into the rewards scheme, then you have nothing to lose and much to gain by doing so now.
We would even go as far as to say that the benefits of the reward scheme should definitely be taken into consideration if you’re considering switching to Bord Gáis.

What Are the Bord Gáis Rewards on Offer?

What Are the Bord Gáis Rewards with GAA?
If you’re a fan of the GAA, then you’ll definitely be a fan of this offering. Through Bord Gáis Rewards, you can normally get access to VIP events, as well as opportunities to present a "Man of the Match" award or be a flag-bearer at games. A certain amount of tickets are usually reserved for Bord Gáis Rewards members, meaning you’ll even be able to get tickets to sold-out matches!
However, it's undeniable that things are a bit different this season. Bord Gáis Rewards are now more focused on watching the games from home. GAA offers through Bord Gáis Rewards now include signed jerseys and GAAGo passes.

Bord Gáis Energy Rewards members can apply for a Circle K fuel card on the Bord Gáis website. This card will give you a discount of 3 cents per litre at Circle K garages. You’ll need to visit the Bord Gáis Energy Rewards fuel card page and enter your account number to get the card.
The fuel card is free, and you can even get 14 days of interest-free credit on fuel purchases. The card operates by direct debit. Purchases are totalled weekly and then charged to your account seven days later. That means that even if you forget your bank cards, you’ll still be able to use this card to pay at gas stations.
What Are the Bord Gáis Rewards with Zurich?
Bord Gáis Rewards Club members can get up to 25% off a car insurance policy with Zurich when they get an online quote and buy the policy online directly from Zurich. This discount can be broken down into two parts: a 10% exclusive discount for Bord Gáis Energy Rewards Club members and a 5% additional discount if you already have a policy with Zurich.
In addition to a car insurance discount, Bord Gáis Energy Rewards Club members can also get up to 35% off a home insurance policy with Zurich. As with the car insurance discount, you must get the quote online and buy the policy online directly from Zurich to take advantage of the discount. There is an additional discount of 10% if you have been claims free for 4 years or more.
What Are the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre Rewards?
Another amazing facet of the Bord Gáis Rewards scheme is the ability to buy discounted tickets for the well-known Bord Gáis Energy Theatre before they go on sale to the general public.
Some tickets are usually set aside for Bord Gáis Rewards customers so that even if a show is sold out, you may still be able to get a ticket! There are also complimentary upgrades available for Bord Gáis Rewards members.
Since its opening, the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre has hosted more than 500 productions and raised its curtain almost 3,500 times. Over five million audience members have watched its productions. This includes shows from the best of the West End and Broadway as well as niche and local productions.
What Are the Bord Gáis Weekly Unmissable Rewards?
The Bord Gáis Weekly rewards are limited time offers that Bord Gáis rewards has for different events around the year. These are usually seasonable offers to concert, theatre productions, offers to different shows and even box sets for your SmartTV!
What Is the Bord Gáis Loyalty Price Plan?
Although not strictly speaking part of the Bord Gáis reward programme, Bord Gáis does have a loyalty price plan for customers who have been with them for an extended period of time. Loyal customers for either Bord Gáis electricity or gas can benefit from special discounted rates that are a reward for staying with the company for so long. You will usually need to have been with Bord Gáis for 3 years or more and they will send you an email explaining your eligibility and how to sign up!

How Do I Sign Up with an Online Account?
Existing customers with an online account can simply go to their client's online log-in page, click on add Bord Gáis Rewards to their existing online account, and voila! You are now part of the Bord Gáis Rewards Club!
How Can Sign Up Without an Online Account?
Existing customers without an online account will first need to register for an online account. You will need several pieces of information to complete the registration process so, we recommend having a recent BGE bill at hand to ease the registration process. Once your online account is active, simply click on add Bord Gáis Rewards and start enjoying these great benefits!

What Is the Bord Gáis Rewards Club Verdict?
Overall, as it is a free service and many of the benefits do amount to significant savings, we cannot help but give a very big thumbs up to the Bord Gáis Rewards programme.
However, in terms of energy savings, we’d still recommend you shop around and look for the cheapest energy provider deal before making the switch to Bord Gáis. If you’re out of contract with the supplier, switch to a new provider to take advantage of new customer discounts.
Remember that although loyalty schemes are a nice touch, switching gas and electricity providers every 12 months is what will actually save you between €300 - €400 a year. The table below shows the cheapest electricity offers per supplier so that you can calculate how much you'd save by switching.
