There are over 400 SEAI approved solar panel installers in Ireland offering services in the installation of PV solar panels and storage batteries. In order to avail of the SEAI solar grant, you must contract an SEAI approved installer. It is recommended to compare different installers in your area to get the best quote before beginning work on your solar panel installation.
The Disability Allowance is currently €244 a week for the personal rate. The rate for adult dependents is €162, for children under 12 it is €50 and for children over 12, €62. The disability allowance is a weekly payment made to people who suffer from mental or physical disabilites, or who suffer from long term health issues due to injury which limit their capacity to work.
As part of Budget 2025 all homeowners will receive a €250 energy credit. It will be paid in 2 instalments of €125. The first payment will be made before the end of 2024, in either November or December, while the second will be made in the new year. The credits are part of a package designed to help with the cost of living crisis and rising energy bills.
